Paul George knew leg injury was bad when he saw bone sticking out

The Indiana Pacers forward was asked several questions about what was going through his head in those moments immediately after the gruesome injury took place.
He started off by giving the press a pretty basic answer.
Paul George: "I was in shock. I couldn't believe this happened to me. That was the only thing that was going through my head."— Marc J. Spears (@SpearsNBAYahoo) August 15, 2014
George followed that up with another thought, which really doesn't need any explanation.
Paul George: "When I looked down and saw my bone sticking out, I knew it was bad."— Marc J. Spears (@SpearsNBAYahoo) August 15, 2014
Anyone who saw the scene that evening knew the two-time NBA All-Star had to be in excruciating pain, but based on what he revealed today, it was worse than you could've imagined.
"It felt like gasoline was on my leg and someone set a match," said Paul George, about the pain he felt when he broke his leg.— Marc J. Spears (@SpearsNBAYahoo) August 15, 2014
Let's hope George has nothing but a pain-free existence from here on out.
