Uruguay's Luis Suarez set off a storm on Tuesday when he apparently bit Italy's Giorgio Chiellini on the shoulder during a World Cup match.
As you can see above, Chiellini showed off the teeth marks left by Suarez.
It wasn't only fans who took Suarez to task for the heinous act, though.
Athletes from all different sports — inlcuding Evander Holyfield — took to Twitter to slam Suarez's actions and make some jokes about the bite heard 'round the world.

Solution: bans not helping, so remove his teeth, allow him to continue playing. We have to think outside the box now guys.— Brandon McCarthy (@BMcCarthy32) June 24, 2014
