Kobe Bryant rarely pulls any punches, especially on social media.

Bryant went for a 1-2 punch on Tuesday as he marked the anniversary of getting traded by the Hornets to the Lakers on draft night.

First, he took to Twitter to send this missive.

Then, Kobe hit up Instagram to post this picture with the caption, On this day 18yrs ago the hornets told me right after they drafted me that they had no use for me and were going to trade me. #thanku #Believe #usmnt #lakers#jwest #drbuss #letsGo #USA."

Yes, despite taking a shot  at the Hornets, Bryant still managed to show off his U.S. soccer pride by throwing in #usmnt, #letsgo and #USA hashtags.
