Not again! Teammates pull epic prank on Francoeur

You may recall that in early April, Jeff Francoeur’s minor-league teammates pulled a very long, detailed, boorish prank on him.

Players for the El Paso Chihuahuas convinced Francoeur that one of their pitchers, Jorge Reyes, was deaf when in fact he was not.

This spoof went on for a week before Francoeur was informed of what was going on.

Well, the Chihuahuas got Francoeur again.

This time, Cody Decker, Pat Murphy, Travis Buck, Carlos Quentin, Blaine Boyer and Mike Cather conspired to lock Francoeur in a bathroom.

We won’t give you spoilers to tell you how things turned out, but we can tell you that Francoeur was trapped for hours.

The good news for Francoeur is that he returned to the majors Wednesday night and went 1 for 3 with a sac fly and a walk in helping the Padres beat the Cubs 8-3.
