Anything to get to the World Cup finals.
Argentine midfielder Javier Mascherano not only suffered an apparent concussion against the Netherlands on Wednesday, but he also completed the game despite another painful injury.
After Argentina advanced to Saturday's finals against Germany with a 4-2 win on penalty kicks following the 0-0 tie in regulation, Mascherano detailed, in very polite fashion, what had happened to him during the match.
Javier Mascherano explains his agony after the block on Robben: "I tore my anus. That was why I was in pain. I don't want to be rude..."— JavieRobMascheBrowno (@robbro7) July 10, 2014
