Watch a Harlem Globetrotter hit a 583-foot shot from the top of a tower

The Harlem Globetrotters visited the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, Texas, to set a new North American record for the highest shot ever made. Buckets Blakes had to climb down to the edge of the tower wearing a harness, and drilled a shot that curved some 20 or 30 feet in the air.

Unfortunately for the Globetrotters, they just missed out on the world record for highest shot by 10 feet. Just a few weeks ago, the new record-holder hit a 593-foot shot from the top of a dam in Switzerland.
