This ‘Back to the Future’ prequel trailer is good enough to fool you

Is that thing for real, Doc?

Spoiler alert: It’s not real.

But this fan-made trailer for a fake "Back to the Future" prequel is good enough to fool you into thinking it is.

That is, unless you’re sharp enough to recognize clips from "Iron Man," "Syriana" and other films. Check it out in the video below and judge for yourself.

Would fans flock to watch a Michael J. Fox-less film that explores the back story of Doc Brown stealing plutonium from Libyan terrorists to build his time machine? Probably.

At the very least, maybe this will inspire Universal to release a fake trailer of their own, like they did last year with "Jaws 19."
