Emmanuel Sanders rides mechanical bull, sort of fulfilling childhood dream

Texas native Emmanuel Sanders said Tuesday that growing up, he always wanted to be a professional bull rider.

The fifth-year pro is a member of the Broncos now after spending his first four in Pittsburgh, so that’s at least one step closer to becoming a bull rider.

Sanders also said his favorite movie is the "8 Seconds," a 1994 film about the life of Lane Frost, the 1987 Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association champion. If I had played Emmanuel Sanders trivia, that would have been about my 7,301st guess.

Anyhow, here’s Sanders riding a mechanical bull. He certainly possesses the type of core strength and balance that would make for a good bull rider, so it’s no surprise he lasts 12-plus seconds on this beast parked in someone’s backyard in Pearland, Texas.

If you think riding a large, bottomless, plastic-metal bull is easy, you haven’t tried it yet.
