Go roll in the deep: Donald Trump is thumbing his nose at Adele

Donald Trump and Adele won't be doing any duets.

Hey Adele, go to hell!

OK, Donald Trump hasn’t come out and said that yet, but he’s definitely thumbing his nose at her. The Republican presidential candidate is defying the singer’s wishes, continuing to play her songs at his rallies despite a rep for her saying that he doesn’t have permission to use her music.

Both "Rolling in the Deep" and the theme from "Skyfall" were played at a couple of Trump stops this week, according to reports, as they have been throughout his campaign.

Days earlier, Adele joined the likes of Neil Young and Aerosmith, as a rep for the star said Trump did not have permission to use her music for political campaigning.

Maybe she needs to tell him a little more forcefully. When R.E.M’s "It’s the End of the World As We Know It" was used at a Trump rally last year, frontman Michael Stipe tweeted this statement as a cease-and-desist:

"Go f**k yourselves, the lot of you — you sad, attention-grabbing, power-hungry little men. Do not use our music or my voice for your moronic charade of a campaign."

However, Adele can’t keep Trump from playing her music at events. His campaign told ABC News it paid the licensing fees that allow for the use of her music in pretty much every case except commercials — unless she follows the example of Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.

If I were Trump, I’d be careful. You scorn Adele, you’re liable to wind up the subject of a best-selling song.
