Watch Kluber embrace blonde wig, heavy cynicism in 'True Detective' audition

"It was all the same dream, a dream that you had inside a locked room, a dream about being a person. And like a lot of dreams, there's a monster at the end of it."

Time is a flat circle in which 28-year-old Indians hurler Corey Kluber just keeps striking dudes out ... forever.

According to Kluber, who's tallied a 2.41 ERA and nearly 10 K/9 so far this season in breakout campaign, some people think that the pitcher's emotionless demeanor resembles Rust Cohle's (Matthew McConaughey) from HBO's popular new series "True Detective."
