Super Bowl 48 is a huge dud; Bella Twins are Fox-y
Well, that was a debacle. Outside of Joe Namath's fur coat and a 9/11 truther crashing a postgame press conference, there's not much to say about Super Bowl 48. Seattle dominated every aspect of the game from start to finish and deserved to be champions. Several Seahawks players took to Twitter after the win to express their excitement. Marshawn Lynch did not, but as you can see above, he was enjoying himself in the locker room after the game.
You can watch any of the 63 commercials that aired last night right here.
THE POST-GAME COMMERCIAL
This was pretty genius by Esurance. A Twitter user who tweets #EsuranceSave30 can win $ 1.5 million, and the sweepstakes is exclusive to Twitter.
The "Seinfeld" reunion that aired during the game was just part of a larger, six-minute version that you can watch here.
THE HIGHLIGHT OF SUPER BOWL WEEKEND IN NEW YORK
Nothing that took place in New York City over the past week came close to being as awesome as Howard Stern's 60th Birthday Bash, which took place Friday night at the Hammerstein Ballroom. I was lucky enough to go and even got to ask the King of All Media a couple of sports questions on the red carpet. Here is a full recap of the star-studded event.
BIGGEST NEWS OF THE WEEKEND
Kate Upton and Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander are no longer hiding the fact that they are a couple.
BEST CATCH OF THE WEEKEND
It didn't come in the Super Bowl. It came in the Celebrity Beach Bowl and was made by none other than "Friday Night Lights" star, Scott Porter, aka, Jason Street.
RIP, Philip Seymour Hoffman.
FOX-Y LADIES OF THE DAY
We close the 2013 NFL season with this Super Bowl-inspired photoshoot from the WWE Bella Twins, who get today's Fox-y Lady honors.
