Monday Night Madness

If you went to bed early, you missed a wild finish in Carolina. Referees threw a flag on the final play of the game, for what appeared to be holding on the Panthers, since linebacker Luke Kuechly was mugging Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. However, the refs picked up the flag and decided there was no penalty on the play, thus giving Carolina a 24-20 win. Afterward, Tom Brady had some words for the refs and Bill Belichick looked even more miserable than usual. Naturally, Twitter had a field day with this.

Earlier in the game, Cam Newton dazzled with this impressive escape and scramble.
