Frank Thomas, aka "The Big Hurt," was overcome with emotion Sunday afternoon as he stood at the podium in Cooperstown during his enshrinement at the Baseball Hall of Fame. Watch his heartwarming speech here.
Meanwhile "The Professor" Greg Maddux, an unimposing presence who efficiently carved up hitters en route to four Cy Young awards and 355 career wins, told a fart joke during his remarks. Maddux also joked about his amusement when his catchers would get dinged in the face by foul tips. Braves manager Bobby Cox gave an entertaining speech as well.

Timing and spelling is everything
On Saturday, the Rockies handed out jerseys at Coors Field bearing All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki's name, only his name was misspelled. The following day, Tulowitzki, currently on the disabled list with a sports hernia and receiving treatment on the East Coast, turned up at Yankees game in the Bronx. If you go there, the trade rumors will come.

'Little Big League' is all grown up
On the 20th anniversary of the movie, the actor who played Billy Heywood (Luke Edwards) returned to Minneapolis to relive the magic. "I can't help but follow them," Edwards said of the Twins. "My dad is a big Giants fan, so I kind of inherit all my sports allegiances from my dad. But the Twins are definitely No. 2."
