After leaving the exhibition game that determines homefield advantage in the World Series, Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright admitted that in the first inning, he grooved a pitch to Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, who promptly doubled and later scored. Shortly thereafter, in the interview above, Wainwright changed his story and explained that he was only kidding.
