Ricky Hatton took on Manny Pacquiao on May 2, 2009 in Las Vegas. Pacquiao knocked Hatton out in the second round. It would end up being Hatton's final fight, as the British boxer announced his official retirement Thursday.

Ricky Hatton follows through on a left hook to Luis Collazo's face during WBA welterweight title fight on May 13, 2006 in Boston. It was his one and only win at welterweight, having spent most of his career at light welterweight. Hatton vacated the title he took from Collazo on Aug. 31, 2006 to move back to light welterweight.
On the Money
Ricky Hatton's second and final fight at welterweight was this bout for Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s WBC belt on Dec. 8, 2007. Mayweather won the fight by TKO in the 10th round and Hatton returned to the light welterweight division for his remaining fights.
On Nov. 22, 2008, Ricky Hatton fought his penultimate fight, retaining his IBO and Ring Magazine light welterweight titles against Paulie "The Magic Man" Malignaggi. Hatton won the fight with an 11th-round TKO.
