NEW YORK (AP) — Phoenix Suns center Miles Plumlee was selected Friday to replace injured Atlanta Hawks center Pero Antic in the Rising Stars Challenge during All-Star Weekend in New Orleans.

Plumlee is averaging 9.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 49 games this season, his second in the NBA. He will play for Team Hill, which will be coached by former Suns forward Grant Hill.

Antic has a stress fracture in his right ankle.

The Rising Stars Challenge is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14. The Suns also will have Goran Dragic participating in the Skills Challenge as part of the All-Star festivities.
