If you love Canada, you’ll love this

With the Coyotes hitting the road after Thursday night’s game for a four-game swing through Washington, Tampa, Miami and Boston, Jobing.com Arena will be transformed into a different sort of gathering place for fans of the great white north.

On Saturday, the arena will be rocking with CanadaFest, featuring three classic Canadian bands — Bachman & Turner, Loverboy and Trooper. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., but not until after the Coyotes-Capitals is shown on the arena’s video board from 5 to 7:30.

FOX Sports Live hosts Jay Onrait and Dan O’Toole, the networks expert’s on all things Canadians, won’t be able to attend in person, but they sent along this introduction and explanation of why you need to be there.

They have also cut introductions for each of the bands that will play before they take the stage, but you will need to be there to see them. And from what we’re told, they, too, are something to see.
