PEORIA, Ariz. -- Zack Greinke gave up three runs over four innings Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners in his final tuneup for Opening Day.

The D-backs hit six home runs in the game, winning 15-6.

Greinke gave up six hits and did not walk or strike out a batter. His fastball topped out at 90.4 mph, continuing a trend of diminished velocity this spring.

"It's a good day for him," manager Torey Lovullo said. "As the outing went on, he was a little bit better with his fastball command and started to spot up his secondary stuff."

Greinke, who will start Arizona's season opener Sunday against the San Francisco Giants, finished 2-0 with a 5.06 ERA in three Cactus League starts, allowing 13 hits with three walks and five strikeouts in 10 2/3 innings. He also pitched in three games that were not against major-league competition and not factored into his stats.

"I'm as ready as I’m going to be," Greinke said. "There weren’t any setbacks or anything throughout camp."

D-backs regulars Brandon Drury, A.J. Pollock, Jake Lamb and David Peralta hit home runs. They were joined in the home run fest by minor-leaguers Kris Negron and Marty Herum, who hit a grand slam.

Pollock's home run was his first since returning from a groin injury suffered midway through camp.

"I haven't hit too many balls well this spring," Pollock told azcentral.com. "One good at-bat, the other three at-bats were kind of 'eh.' But you'll take the positives and keep getting better."

EXTRA BASES

The Diamondbacks claimed first baseman Christian Walker off waivers from Cincinnati and designated pitcher Evan Marshall for assignment. Walker was then optioned to Triple-A Reno.

Walker, 26, hit .264 with 18 home runs for Triple-A Norfolk in 2016. He has 73 home runs over the last four minor-league seasons with the Orioles organization.
