D-backs’ Derrick Hall says wife diagnosed with breast cancer

PHOENIX — Amy Hall, the wife of Diamondbacks CEO and president Derrick Hall, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of triple negative breast cancer.

The team issued a letter from Derrick Hall regarding his wife’s condition in response to rumors and questions about a family health issue.

Derrick Hall writes that the treatment protocol requires four to six months of chemotherapy, followed by surgery and radiation.
