Rubby is rollin'
Rubby De La Rosa has responded to the roughest patch of the season, and he's done so by being in tune with catcher Welington Castillo. The right-hander has allowed two earned runs in the last 22 innings, and during that three-game span he's lasted at least seven innings. In the prior three-game stretch, he allowed two home runs in each start while allowing 20 earned runs in 15 innings.

Steady streak of Dodger blues
The Diamondbacks have lost seven consecutive games to the Dodgers -- and were outscored 41-18 in those defeats -- and 12 of their last 14. An eight-game losing streak to the Dodgers would be the longest since 2004.

The D-backs top two hitters are hoping to benefit from a return home after struggling during last week's 2-4 road trip. Paul Goldschmidt has a nine-game hitting streak going but hasn't recorded more than one hit in any of the nine games. He's batting .273 with a .370 on-base percentage in his last six games -- a drop-off from his season totals of .349 and .465. Likewise, A.J. Pollock hit .227 with a .292 on-base percentage on last week's trip.

Mike Bolsinger's return
Former Arizona pitcher Mike Bolsinger takes the mound for the Dodgers on Monday to face former Los Angeles draft pick Allen Webster. Bolsinger, who was traded to the Dodgers in a minor-league deal in November, went seven innings, struck out eight and gave up two earned runs in a 9-3 win over the D-backs earlier this month but has pitched into the seventh inning just twice in 10 starts.
